The dig-through-your-old-stuffs thread

#1 Post by Shoyru_Lover »

Hi guys! I was chatting to Nikkerdoodle today *remember her?* in the ppt chat on AIM and she was showing us some of her old screenshots from PPT. Memorrries!!

A lot of us have been here for a long time, so I thought we should start a dig-through-your-old-stuffs thread... kinda like photobucket or thingies you've saved. They could be old sets, avatars and signatures... anything!

Anyone want to start first? :)

Aw! Those are so fabulous, Nik! Unfortunately, a lot of the old things I had are on harddrives in old computers now. :/

Back in June and July 2003 I was going under the name of CyberShadow_Usul due to my obsession with the Shadow Usul monster at the time.

Here is a picture from a time back when ChromeFox, HunterLupe, CSK, Bno, Charisma, CragHack and Infernobanjo were moderators on PPT back in July 2003.

Taken sometime before May became a moderator and back when we had the subRed skin as well as being more recent than the other pictures above. Of course since then the record has been beaten again.

The set I used in the last Neopian war that I took part in which was between Maraqua and the Pirates back in 2005. Someone else created it when they were either on IDB or PPT during that time but I can't remember who it was that created it.

All my really old stuff went bye-bye with my 250free account, but I has a Photobucket here...

Image
Signature I made for Twiztwiz...I think it was a set contest?

Image
Set contest for sure.
I was just learning how to colourize like that. One of my favourite tricks now.

Image
Still one of my favourite signatures to this day.

Image
The signature that won me PPT's Top Graphician way back when.
...I could do much better now. XD

And, this is for Wisseh:

Image
First set I received from him. One of my set contests. :3

All my super-old stuff is on domaindlx.com, which pretty much go byebye. T_T I got my Photobucket in...I dunno, but it had to be at least 2006. :(

A few things I happened to transfer once domaindlx started to die (yes, I had a bit of warning :P):

Halloween 2003(?) - a "photo" of "me" in "costume"

Image

----------------------

PPTbies 2003 - Assisting with Fidds's campaign against Chrome (as I recall, I picked on the side that was easiest to Googlism-ify):

Image

I remember it came with an analysis, but of course that's not saved. :(

----------------------

If I had to guess, I think I made screenied (:P) this for a Neopets screenies thread:

Image

----------------------

From...something:

Image

----------------------

If we were to dig up old quotes, now that I could go crazy with. XD
Image

No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.

The set I'm using is ancient. It's at least three years old. The base image of my avatar is sooo old, it predates my membership at PPT by a long shot...I think it's seven years old.

Should really get back to this at some point:
