New hidden tower weaps, and neo's mistake.

#1 Post by amarise »

Well, as many of you probably know, TNT released the new items, and retired some old ones. Before I get to the bad news, here's a quick list of retired items-

Fyoras Looking Glass
Little Timmy's Slingshot
Ghostkersword

Yes, that's right, the G-sword was retired. But that's not the worst news of the day. When TNT released the four new items (The Hannah doll, the Platinum Dub, the Pirate Hat and the Pirate Cutless) they made a small error. Before they had activated the two weaps, they released them (as they always do). The Blade was 1.8 mil, and the hat 1.6 or 1.7 mil. (I can't remeber which) Well, once neo activated the weaps BDers discovered that the Hat blocks all light, some fire, and some earth, and the Blade does 17-22 icons. It's comparable to the G-Sword. But that's not their mistake. You see, they had made a small typo in the name of the two weaps, which is why they were priced so low. They quickly corrected their mistake, pricing the Blade at 16mil and the hat at 4.7mil. Then the freezings began. So far, dozens of people who bought the items when they were very cheap have been frozen due to neo's mistake. I happen to know a few people who have been frozen already, and the icing continues. I wish I could have bought a cheap sword myself, but it wasn't possible since I didn't have the pure. However, I feel it's wrong of neo to freeze people due to a mistake of their own. They should either have removed the item and refunded their money, or simply let it slide.

The sad thing is, there's nothing we can really do about it.

That is really awful -- I can't believe they'd do that! I hope they remedy this.

I'm sorry TNT,I agree. I am usually on their side and forgiving of their behind schedule releases, glitchs, etc, but honestly. That is horrible. Theres just no excuse for that kind of thing.

Send your friends my sincerest apologies. :(

EDIT: I dont think its necesary to call them stupid though.

If I see them, I will. :) They'll come back, I'm sure, but mistakes like this are still unfair.

I know, it's hard to believe. I know that some people probably multi'd (used more than one account to buy from the Tower) but I've heard from more than enough people who I'm almost certainly convinced only bought with one account. As you can guess, a lot of BDers have been frozen as of right now. There are some people who bought cheap who haven't been frozen, so hopefully TNT has stopped it's freezing run.

TNT's gone too far this time. We should all send them emails.

ok, I don't say this that often but, THAT IS A LOAD OF CRAP! It was their mistake. "Oh, dude, I messed up! I need to get rid of those people before I lose my job!" This stinks and tnt should apologize and give those people their accounts back!

I feel sorry for those people who got frozen by buying a Pirate Captains Cutlass and not knowing that TNT made a mistake on the price of the Pirate Captains Cutlass.

Instead of iceing the people who brought the Pirate Captains Cutlass TNT should of downgraded the Pirate Captains Cutlass icons because their pricing error.

So...you're sure that they were frozen for THAT reason, and not something else?

That is so dumb. It's not like the people who bought them KNEW that TNT would make a mistake and make the items a lot more. TNT needs to apologize for their mistakes. Freezing innocent people doesn't help anybody!

Couldn't they just hunt down the accounts, delete the item and return the Neopoints? I know it probably takes more time and effort, but it's more fair than freezing the accounts all together. Most of these players have done nothing wrong.
