That is...the question.

What are your opinions of chatting on the Neoboards? Me, I avoid it. It makes my brain hurt to see the English language mocked in such ways by folks wanting to save a measly keystroke or three, and to see posts in all the wrong boards about all the wrong things! Where are the moderators where you need them?!

I prefer PPT. People have intelligent discussions here, and that makes my brain not hurt.

But what do you guys think?

occasionally i like to stop by the neoboards, particularly avatar chat. i really have to be careful to hold my tongue though, even if it's very tempting to antagonize the dim bulbs that i see on those forums!

Back when I was on the site I'd occasionally pop into the help board every now and then and see if anyone wanted any tips.

I read the Avatar chats occasionaly, made friends with a few of the EACC, and every so often, I'll look for tips in one of the Stock Market boards. But very rarely do I post, for fear I'll get frozen. I know too many people who've said the wrong things on there.

I hang out in the battledome board, seeing as that is the most friendly board in my opinion XD

VPC used to be a good place to go, but then it got filled with wannabe "generals" and later spam zealots. Few people that used to go there still do. The Jelly Chat is nice, but even it has gotten its share of pesky fools.

I tend to avoid the NeoBoards though. I visit the Games board there quite a bit though, usually for the Mystery Pic, and I've used the Trading/Auctions one to sell items before also.

i think neoboards aren't as bad as other boards i've seen. some boards aren't too bad really, there are some nice people there who are helpful, and then there are some who are not.

if i need help on a quest or something i usually come here, but sometimes if something on the news catches my attaention i may wander over and chat a little, and sometimes i feel very nice and happy and i'll go to neohelp and help out people with questions ect,

so really, i think it just depends on what you do there.

I don't use the neoboards, for the specific reason that I don't need it for any thing.
I do however sometimes pop into the help chat to answer some peoples questions.

I chat there...rarely...

more often I'll be on IDB, because the only neo board I ever go to is the battledome one, and you can pretty much just call that the "I-want-to-be-frozen-so-I'm-telling-you-I-can-restock-so-you'll-think-I-have-an-Autobuyer"chat.

yes, long name...but it's true...those boards are just a place to get yourself frozen.

I go on the Jelly World boards, theres less people who can't spell and so on because they can't figure out how to make topics there

The neoboards are so annoying, people post in hard-to-read font and have stupid "pre-post" and "post-post" statements, which I always confuse as part of their post. Furthermore, why would anyone want to go there for? The tips they give are rarely reliable and the few sensible people are hopelessly outnumbered by the bunch of foolish newbies running around posting rubbish. The only reason to go there is to get a lowdown on new events/happenings in Neopia, such as that time when Jacko started giving out pbs madly or to lurk around the m-pic threead picking up hints.

I used tp visit the boards before I got frozen.. Now I generally stay away unless I want to buy/sell on TC.

Totally avoid it...

You cant even post ebay ad hardly ppt without a warning, and around the elections o.O dont ask...

i steer away, i lurk sometimes but i like to chat here

there are actully INTELLIGENT HUMAN FORMS here rather than creepy stalkers you find on the neoboards xD
