A whole load of fish (goldfish and koi). They live in our outdoor makeshift pond. I don't even know how many are alive or newborn now, raccoons from the neighbourhood keep coming around and eating them...

Quite sad. ;_;

I have one very stupid dog, but I love my dog shes my favorite pet. Three cats, two are kittens and the other is an older cat. Two parakeets, they fight but I think their getting use to eachother, I want ferret my dad is very opposed to weasel like creatures. Oh and two fish, one bleeding heart fish and another big one with whiskers that I can't remember what is called.

A cat(Chartreuse) and 3 kittens(Pepper, Tiger, and Oreo). ^_^ The cat age is about 1 year and a half, and the kittens are about 4 months old. They're all Maine Coon (a type of breed).

Happened in my neighbor's pond too. I gave them a few lovely fishies to put in, and a lovely little heron comes and eats them. (And heron's aren't even supposed to live around here!) All the poor fishies that are still there hide under the rocks so they won't get eaten too.

I don't have any other pets though. My mom is anti-pet.

Ferrets rule... I've never met any but they're sweet when you see them in pet stores.
I have:

1 dog, Siberian Husky, named Wolfie on his tag but my dad says his full name is Wolfgar Beowulf Wolfie von Wolfowitz. I'll take his word on that. I'd like to think his real name is Beowulf but I know it isn't... When we got him at the shelter, the couple who took him in when they found him abandoned but couldn't put up with his energy said his name was Casper... O.o

2 cats, one a complete mix who happens to look like an Egyptian Mau, my favorite type of cat, named Lucky because he was "kicked out" (He was thrown over a fence... Lucky to be alive...), probably because he was a runt. He is a scrawny little thing, but now he's in the mountains his fur is thicker. I call him Bucky, his full name is Lucky Fortunatus Figaro (Figaro's my mom's last name). He eats birds. :D

My other cat is a... cat-mongrel... his mom is a tortiseshell, a medium-hair and therefore a mixed breed, her name is Angelface as she has a mark like a halo on her face... his dad looks like a purebred Birman, they just found him without tags or collar and took him in... back to my cat, his name is Mango 'cause he's orange and sweet, he "foofs" (his fur grows really really long and thick in the winter, he'll sit out in the snow just to get it to grow... that rymed!) We all call him Shmoo, nothing to do with Li'l Abner. He's about 4, or will be on the 4th of July. He eats mice, voles, and UROUDs, Unidentifiable Rodents Of Unusual Disgustingness... he once disected one and left it in the computer room, I never want to see a marmot? spleen again *pukes*.

I currently only have one dog, Kevin. It's really strange when we talk about him to people who don't know he's a dog. Whenever we mention stuff to people about Kevin shedding, people give us funny looks. :P Kevin is 11 years old- an old codger. He's a corgie and some sort of terrier mix and I love him to pieces. :)

lol I'm the only one to vote for some of the few AND other. :P Basically, I have one very confused dog (Violet, she thinks she's a squirrel, a cat, and a human, and sometimes all at once. She also has some things I WON'T mention) and two frogs. But not the regular kind. These are special lab-produced frogs, who can't reproduce on their own or survive in the wild. When they're young, you can see all of their organs, because their skin is translucent. (it's cool and gross at the same time. ;) ) Seymore and Webby Jr., they're extremely old for their species and have actually lived a good deal past the normal death age.

I am petless and happy. Though my brother once had a fish, it committed suicide by jumping out of the tank. That's the only pet story I have.

What were the features they wanted in this species, the translucent skin or something else?

Do what you will; but I will hinder it if I may.

Yep, they were bred to have translucent skin. They're specially made for science classes, my guess being that they'd rather kids looked at frog's organs in live frogs, instead of dead ones. I don't know if they were going for anything else, but they are average weight and lifespan, so my guess would be that was it.

One Yellow Labrador named Max who licks his butt way too much for my liking. Other than that hes pretty cool. I'll post a pic later if I can find a recent one.

I dont really count fish as pets, but eh.

Thirty or so pond fish. GoldFish, Orphes, Koi, Shabumkins. All very nice to look at, but still wont eat from my hand. 20 or so tropical fresh water fish. Pictus Catfish, Clown Loaches, Pearl Danio's, Cardinals Tetras, Flying Fox, etc.

They may not be friendly, but fish are cool 8)
