I made a few mistakes, but I was driving in a lousy car with the speedometer light burnt out (!). And I was solid nerves. But what's it matter? I passed!

Congrats!!! I don't even have my permit yet... -_- But you passed!!!

Awesome!

You just reminded me to cower in fear... My best friend's brother just got his lisence on Tuesday. I refuse to get in the car with him behind the wheel. He does 25, in a cemetary, in reverse. ~:>

I'm finally back for the summer, although hopefully I'll spend a little more time away from this screen.

YAY! Congrats, Chrome! Welcome to the world of licensed drivers... now all you need is a car.

Congratulations on passing your driving test, I know it can be a very nervous experience, well done!

Any errors? If so, what?

I turned a right in a right lane only and went into the middle lane. D'oh! I also made some little errors like when shifting lanes starting to veer into the lane before checking my blindspot. It wasn't my best driving, but, like I said, I was nervous.

Nontheless, you passed, so Congratulations!

And I'll take heed of the mistakes you mentioned, in hopes that I, myself, do not do the same.

Congratulations.

Don't worry about little errors like that - the best training is continued real-life driving.

I'm always surprised that people get drivers' tests in real-world environments. When I got my license, it was on a state-run road course with specifically set-up obstacles and goals.

I almost got hit by a student driver once.

The Town East Mall Sears does driving class, and when they test, they drive through my neighborhood. So one day as I'm crossing the street, I see the student driver car coming unusually fast, so I quickly ducked out of the way.

It was pretty funny.

Congrats.

Yes... Very much so

Whoot, congrats, Chromey!

I'm most worried about the Hazard Perception test here. It's computerized, and a lot of my friends who are over 18 have told me it's the most difficult part >.>

I didn't have any problems myself.

Most of it is common sense - don't brake too late, don't break too soon, watch out for road signs and markings and take notice, be aware that some cars can actually hide others from sight so it's best not to start anything until you're sure there isn't a "hidden car". If there are cyclists and pedestrians and you're going relatively slow be ready to brake if they veer onto the road. If you have a car close in front of you and they start to brake you start to brake, etc etc.

Definately not something to stress yourself out about, I know a number of people who didn't pass the first time but I also know a number of people who did, it's a hard test to study for (other than getting real driving experience) because the practise test they give you only has like 4 questions and they're the same questions over and over again (definately watch the tutorial of it though, it'll tell you some hazards to look out for).

You can get your permit in some places at 14.

Way to go! Now that you have your license, don't get too many tickets. =P
