*pokes Trick* CONGRATULATIONS!

Uhm, I guess the upside would have to be finally writing those two biology tests. >.>

Local Newspaper wrote:<store name removed>'s will attempt to re-open in the next few days.

Manager <name removed> said once matters are settled with the city and with the electricity company, the record section and the book section will have power and heat and be able to re-open.

"It really depends; there's so many variables," said <name removed>. "The merchandise is pretty much ready to go."

<name removed> said that the damage is not as bad he had feared it would be last night. The books in the bookstore are not damaged and most of the compact disks and DVDs are still OK. But, there will still be areas of the store that are damaged and customers will not be able to go into.

Yay! Totally made my day. The place caught fire the night before last, and it's pretty much the only place to rent anime in town. Hurray for it's quick return!

Also, it's snowing. Yay! I just hope it stops before 11, I don't want my husband driving in it because he's not used to it (he's from Texas).

Hee, thanks guys! :) My upside today would be that I am less tired than I have been in a long time, I fell asleep at 9.30 last night hehe ^^

Incredible hyperness, if that counts. :P

Now that sounds like fun!

All I got for Christmas from work was a pink slip. :P In my defense (and theirs), I was only a temp employee. And actually knowing when I get to leave that place is a definite upside to any day. Flying cockroaches. Ew.

Another date tonight. <3

Probably the upside of my week.

It was :) although I Decided to be the DD for some co-workers anyway. Good fun was had by all - we played games, made fools of ourselves (notes one co-worker who wore pantihose on his head stuffed with ballons all night like antlers) Food was good. Prime Rib

Hmm ...FRUIT!

Yesh, we have lots. And they're all yum. ^^

HEE.

We made a rubbish model of a prokaryotic cell today. As in, the model made from rubbish.

HEE.

It was really fun while making it. Especially the "crisis" with the glue gun:
A: "Okay, I'm going to put glue on it now."
B: "okay, hurry and stick it on!"
A: "....IT'S DRY!!"
B: "put glue on again!"
me: "-sticks- OUCH! My finger has glue on it!"

Background info now: prokaryotic cells have free floating DNA and ribosomes.
me: "Let's stick this piece of plastic on top. -sticks-"
B: "Okay, now put the ribosomes in (beads). Should we use these shiny ones?"
me: "sure"
B: "-puts them in-"
me: "don't glue them down, they're free floating."
me: "-shakes the "cell" (made from cardboard) and "ribosomes" move around. Hee! This is so fun!"
B: "What about the DNA?"
me: "let's do this: stick the messed up string on a piece of trimmed cloth. So then the string is the DNA and the cloth is the nucleic region."
B: "okay"
Then we did that together.
me: "Don't stick them down to the cytoplasm. It's free floating, see. -moves the chunk around the 'cell'-"
And we somehow broke into laughter. XD

I took a picture of it with my phone since I didn't bring my camera :P Will post in the picture topic once I get it uploaded to my computer.

Oh, and, finally get rid of my economics test-tail. :D

Coming home.
After a day of tests and screaming children in the school hallways, I'm just really happy to be home.

That would be the upside of my decade.

Hm.. My work ban is up tomorrow :) ... I think. Even if it isn't, I'm going back anyways.
