In case anyone (else) is interested, I collected the times noted in all these splits (k, not ALL the splits 
but I have 30 datapoints) and tried to predict Tarla's times. No real luck, but here are a few interesting things:
* Tarla comes 4 times a day, twice before noon & twice after (NST)
* Tarla does not come every day (skipped days: Aug 23, Aug 25, Aug 28, Sept 3) but has come at least once on each day of the week (ie. no weekly patterns)
* Without factoring in flash-post lag, Tarla comes most often between :11 - :15 or :45 - :47
* Tarla has come back as little as 60 minutes later
* Tarla has come most often at 7pm and 9am
* Every time Tarla has come at 1am, she has returned at 9am
Now, I don't know whether she's likely to continue any of these patterns, but at least I know there's no easy answer now.
(No, I have not managed to grab a single one of her presents. Maybe that's why I care so much)
Has anyone else noticed any petpages with this kind of info?? (There are a few times missing, and I'd like to see them). Otherwise, I may stick it up on one of mine, if other people are interested.

I got Flotsam Facts... sorry rather new after my last illusens stamp, so what else new beside it's more random now?

It would seem though, that the random gifts she "accidently left behind" are somewhat common items that you can find for pretty cheap. And her Special items {one you need to catch her with} if you check the Shop Wiz at the right times there pretty cheap. I've noticed that the best times are about 5-10 minutes after the alert button goes off, cause then it gives other neopians enough time to put it in their shop and price it.
