Woohoo! Really that was quite fun, although I do admit it was hard to curb temptation and not feed the meowclopse!
It's okay to let him have a snack every once in a while.
Especially if you're trying to keep items aloft on one end of the screen, and there's one rapidly falling on the other end - right where the Meowclops is about to step. That little guy is my bestest friend. ^^
And while usually you don't get nearly as many points feeding items to the kitty as you do getting them in the pot, there are three exceptions: the fish head (10 pts either way), the Grape Gummy Rat (5 pts no matter what), and the Spooky Doughnut (6 pts in the pot, 5 pts if Kitty eats it). I don't know if this'll help or not, just something I noticed.
In any case, I still got my book!
Though I'm torn between reading it to my Acara or keeping it for a while and selling it. Might just have to buy two of them.
Re: the Neopets ad on Nick - I hadn't seen it because I can't stand to watch Nick anymore, but I did a quick YouTube search for it. Couldn't really make out any items because the quality wasn't too good, but AAA's voice was actually about what I'd expect him to sound like (that...was him at the end, right? Saying something like, "I'll be waiting"? ). Yes, it's nasally and annoying, but since that's pretty much his character, it fits just fine to me. Only way it could be better - well, maybe - is if he also had a
Mandark-type laugh.
But, having said that, if they had him talking through the entire ad... I'd be changing the channel mighty quickly.
I have to say, if I didn't know what Neopets was, and then they showed me that ad, it wouldn't make me want to play. It's not a very good ad. Like the Altador Cup ad, it automatically assumes people know osmething about Neopets already.
