A book! That's exciting. I'll need to work a bit to get over 400, but I know I can because I have before. I can't wait to get home from work and give it a try...
Attack of the Gummy Dice was awful - I clicked on AAA on accident (I was unfortunate enough to have challenged Abigail on the first day before paying more attention to the rules - haven't missed AAA yet aside from that). It took about 2 hours of playing (and having someone over my shoulder helping me watch the columns that were getting too high) to get over 2k, but I finally did! (My previous high score was like, 800 or so) Never, ever touching that game again - even with a 10-foot pole!

Oh great sophie's stew was supposed to be easy as my high score on it was around 440 and then I couldn't get over 340. Still did it, took around 30 mins. STILL I can't beat destructo-match but still I raised my high score to around 1900 today. Hopefully I'll do it but I need help.

Karnatu - good luck with Destruct-O-Match II. I've got this strange determination to still try to beat AAA's score even though I can't challenge him. At least I'll get the avvie! I finally got up to 2406 the other night...and died only one block short of completing the level.

On a side note, my little brother just joined Neopets last week (after watching me having played it and talked about it for years). He saw me playing Destruct-O-Match II and decided to give it a try. He sat down and got a 2476 on his FIRST TRY (like, ever).

He makes me sick.

Yay, today's game wasn't too bad! I'd never played before, but it only took me maybe 4 or 5 tries to get over 400. Unlike yesterday and the day before, which sucked hard.

I liked it better when Abigail's said 1. :/ I'm still in the running for the #2 prize though, so that's good I guess.

I finally managed to beat AAA on Sophies Stew.
Goodness.. that took forever.. :cry:

I'm 7 AAA and 7 Abigail.

At first I didn't mind the game, didn't like it much it's a bit umm boring (how some people can sit there and bounce 2600 worth of ingredients into that pot, I don't know) but not bad, even if I couldn't reach 400.

Then after a long and hard struggle I reach 400, and when I say 400 I do mean exactly 400. Yay! I think and challenge AAA.

"We are sorry, our servers are not responding."

It is now 2am and at last I have managed to read 433. And taking into account that I'm going for the "Beat every game on the day of challenge" trophy, I couldn't exactly leave it for later.

I never want to do that again. :cry:

Although I want the Meowclops :hug:

Re: the Neopets ad on Nick - I hadn't seen it because I can't stand to watch Nick anymore, but I did a quick YouTube search for it. Couldn't really make out any items because the quality wasn't too good, but AAA's voice was actually about what I'd expect him to sound like (that...was him at the end, right? Saying something like, "I'll be waiting"? ). Yes, it's nasally and annoying, but since that's pretty much his character, it fits just fine to me. Only way it could be better - well, maybe - is if he also had a Mandark-type laugh.

But, having said that, if they had him talking through the entire ad... I'd be changing the channel mighty quickly.

I have to say, if I didn't know what Neopets was, and then they showed me that ad, it wouldn't make me want to play. It's not a very good ad. Like the Altador Cup ad, it automatically assumes people know osmething about Neopets already.

I saw the ad earlier today.

It sucked. It... just flat-out sucked. It was so poorly constructed that I can see how it would be confusing to someone who has never played on the site before. It was almost like an anti-Neo ad, practically screaming "stay away from this stupid, cheap site that clearly does not have the funding to even throw together a competent commercial!" It looked like something a 10 year old would have thrown together. :|

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but any commercial that makes me embarassed to be associated with the product is a bad commercial.

This may just be technical problems on my side, but I found I had to close out and load the game all over again after I'd used bouncebouncebounce, otherwise it just didn't work. If anyone else can't get it to work properly, that might clear it up.
