What an idiot. He should have said a narwhal was driving. It's the best of both worlds. Both have a totally unecessary horn but narwhals actually exist.
It would have been totally plausible.

Unicorn horns are not unecessary! They dip them in water to purify it. It's where a good deal of their magic is stored.
