I agree with you Daze. People who collect rare pets and then dump them when something more "rare" comes along aren't hurting anyone else.
Except the pound snipers that are delibirately looking for painted pets, who also don't care if it was pounded or if it was a transfer. Those obnoxious people wouldn't care less if it was a transfer or not, perhaps they'd even try to snipe them off from the start. I'd put more trust in getting a transfer pet back from the GUP's than from some obnoxious sniper.

There's something I'm not quite understanding. Do members of this GUP actively snipe pets during a transfer, or do they surf the pound looking for any painted pet they come across? If it's the former, that's incredibly mean-spirited and I disapprove of the action; if it's the latter, then it's just kinda pointless, but not something I'd really get in a snit about. If someone wants to waste their NP morphing pets, that's their choice.
It's probably the latter. There is no malicious intent in morphing colored pets to green Uni's, except to deny greedy pound snipers mentioned above a pet they don't really deserve.
I agree that it isn't nice for people that donate (lab) painted pets to the community, all their hard work being cancelled out. Then again, it's not exactly 'hard' work now, is it? And they might end up donating pets to greedy people as well, I'm not sure how good a feeling you can get out of that...
They might've gone a bit extreme with the action, but I agree with their point that people should work for their pets instead of just grabbing one. My thoughts are of course also influenced due to having lost a pet myself to some #%*&^$ sniper who refused to give it back.

I think this whole thing is being taken too seriously.
This statement is perfect.
