Auron is struck down by the energy blast from the BFG. His aura of pyreflies surround and infuse him with their energies.
Auron: It seems the Fates wish me to continue my journey.
Auron stands again, ready for combat. Aerith tries swiping at the Cactuar, but gets a 5 and misses.
Aerith: Oh, drat.
As Aerith heads back to her friends, she finds a small orb on the ground.
Aerith: Hey! A new dressphere. Yunie! I have a present for you!
Aerith runs over to show off the prize. A dark cloud floats over the arena. A Lakitu tosses off some Spinies into the arena.

Dark Samus starts draining energy from the vortex and charging a massive blast. The vortex grows exponentially as she drains more energy. Dark Samus fires a shot right at the group. Suddenly, a loud pop is heard. A white, rectangular parallel pipette appears in midair. It spots the ball of energy and rushes to block it. The paddle deflects the ball centimeters before it can hit Samus. The ball starts heading back toward the vortex.
DS: NOOOO!!!!
Dark Samus fires at her previous shot but keeps missing. The massive ball hits the vortex. Space around the vortex starts warping and folding in on itself. With a massive flash of light, but no sound, the vortex collapses in on itself.
DS: [Expletive deleted]! [Expletive deleted]! [Expletive deleted]! Son of a [Expletive deleted]!
Caboose: I don’t think she is happy.
Dark Samus turns and fires a missile directly at Caboose’s head. Pong deflects the missile.
Samus: I never thought I would be glad to see something as weird as this.
DS: Shut the hell up! If I can’t have the universe, at least I’ll have the pleasure of destroying you!
Dark Samus starts unloading all of her arsenal on the group. Pong deftly deflects all incoming attacks.
DS: Damn you!
Dark Samus runs and tries punching Pong but is deflected as well.
DS: Son of a! Fine. You win this round, but I will be back. You have not won yet.
Dark Samus breaks into particles of Phazon and disappears.
Samus: Caboose, honey. Now that Dark Samus is gone, can you please untie us?
Caboose: I’m sorry. I can’t do that.
Samus: Why not!
Caboose: I’m not good with knots.
Whispers. My shoes are velcro!
Chief: That doesn’t surprise me.
Samus: But you’re the one that tied us up.
Caboose: That doesn’t sound like me...
Samus: You stupid, little...
Samus delivers a low blow to Caboose and keeps kicking him.

Snake: Hello. I’m a Mac.

Katarn: An I feel a great disturbance in the Force.
Snake: What?
Sam: Huh?
Katarn: It is as if something utterly idiotic cried out in pain then was suddenly silenced.
Sam: What the heck are you talking about?
Katarn: Oh. Samus asked me to tell you that she needs your help with something. Sorry this took so long to deliver, but some of us can’t make the Kessel run twelve parsecs.
Sam: That makes absolutely no sense. You are using a distance measure for a time interval.
Katarn: Just shut up and come with me.
Sam: Why should we!
Katarn:
Waves a hand. You will shut up and come with me.
Sam: I will shut up and come with you.
Katarn:
Waves a hand. You will not complain the whole time.
Sam: These are not the droids we are looking for.
Katarn: Good enough.
Snake:

Specials follow the same format where appropriate.
Specials and weapons should be used before regular attacks can be used.
Special users can defeat one 1 or 2 HP NPC of their choice in addition to their special use (meaning without targeting the NPC with the special).
Super Smash Attacks (SSA): SSA actions are powerful, character-specific moves with special effects. They can only be activated two ways and usually involve the character being removed from the game (see below) for a short time. The SSA use counter does not reset until all characters have used their SSA. To activate: either use a Smash Emblem or buy it with some points. Characters that still have an available SSA are marked with the Yen symbol (¥)
Removed from the Game (RFG): Unlike in Magic: The Gathering, this is not a permanent effect. Characters removed from the game cannot attack or heal but cannot be targeted. They return to play after a set amount of rounds. At least three characters will remain in play at all times.

Gogo cannot attack or heal. He is active every round. He has only one special which he uses every round.
Special: Mime: *Gogo copies the last action done (the post above this use). *Gogo’s user may choose new targets. *If a special was used, Gogo receives -3 damage in addition to the special’s effects. *Cannot mime SSAs or actions in the GM’s posts. *Cannot be the first action of the round. *If Gogo is not used, he automatically heals for +1 HP each round, but he starts with 30 HP at the beginning of the game. *He counts as male for gender related contests.</s>

Defeated - Mushroom Kingdom: +40 - Mega Mushroom - All members deal double damage for the rest of the round, but cannot use weapons. Negative side effects are doubled for members

Defeated - Pokémon: +50 - Pokeball - A random, unused Pokeball is activated. Members are immune to the effects
Defeated - Sephiroth: +50 - Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.
Sonic: +60 - Hyper Sonic Speed - Members cannot be attacked for the rest of the round. Members may still attack.
Square Enix: +170 points - Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action

2: I hope you liked the commercial parodies. They are really fun to write. If you have suggestions, feel free to PM me. I will be doing more of the ‘who’s greatest’ discussions since they are pretty fun to write.

4: There are just a couple more Mac vs PC commercials to do. After the latest part of the plot, I think the ‘who’s the greatest’ debates will return.
5: Minor-Major Announcement: I am going to need help writing SSAs for next game. Since the real SSBB isn't out yet, we will have to embellish a little for potential returning characters (Ness, Purin, Falcon, Koopa, etc). If you want to help, fire off a PM and we'll work something out.
6: Since they are both defeated, I will reveal Prince’s and Chrono’s SSAs with all of you. They had the ability to manipulate the past. I think it is the most powerful of all the SSAs (maybe second to Kite) since it could be used to virtually bring a character back. Well, not that powerful. There are limitations.
7: You know, I really didn’t ever mean to do real world advertising outside of the references in the plot and the Mac ads and the site citing, but I have to promote
this because it is too cool. I literally
every time I see it because it is so true.
8: As you know, this is the last of the NPCs. I like trying to get them to numbers divisible by five. Just easy for the last update.
9: Oka, I meant ‘1 of each’ as a complement of how the Faction Ability worked. You were okay to use the BFG again.
