Anyone who has purchased items from the Cash shop will be thrilled to hear that most items will not expire anymore. For more information about this please read the FAQ!
But so what do you people think about the NC Mall now?
I've had my eye on those Holiday String Lights. 
It's a shame they're on the same layer as the Floating Fyora Faerie Doll. :/18. What happens to items that I've already purchased now that most items don't expire?
If the expiration date of an item is updated throughout the NC Mall, your copy of that item is also updated!
For example, if you purchased a Floating Soup Faerie Doll and the expiration was 180 days, and that same item is now listed with an expiration of "N/A", your purchased item is also updated and it does not expire. You can keep it forever.
Some items will still have an expiration date, though, so be sure to check the expiration date for all your items, especially before you purchase!
Now I REALLY want one of those animated backgrounds...

12. Non-Use
Neopets reserves the right to permanently terminate any account for non-use including accounts with Neocash items or other items or privileges that may have been licensed through the payment of money to us or our licensing partners. Currently, our policy is to terminate any account that has not been active for two years.
Is there a way to get those cash cards at all for ppl like me? Looks like the listened to all the complaining that it was so not worth it to buy things with real money that disappear! The finally realized that duh! They'll make a lot more money if things don't expire.
I may just have to give in and buy some stuff.
