Re: The dig-through-your-old-stuffs thread
Aw, Kaimon. That was a fun game.
Re: The dig-through-your-old-stuffs thread
I haven't changed my set in almost two years. Some of my favourite previous ones- well, at least just the sigs...

(3rd: wait for it...; 4th: ah, the old fruit fad, I still have a bunch of other ones I made for others!)
Other people's:

And some other stuff:

(never used)

Unfortunately, all my old sets are on some old 1asphost account which I can't remember. :(

It's a sign I've been around too long when I remember almost everything posted here. Yoshi, I remember every single one of those sets, and I've got my orange one around somewhere. (I remember you posting on LJ when one of the fruits - I don't remember which - was causing you grief!)
Kaimon - wow, that was ages ago.

Gone, forever.

Re: The dig-through-your-old-stuffs thread
Something eated all my original sets. I used to do my cute photoshop little horse avatars. I used to shun sigs... *sigh* Now there is no photoshop and thusly no joy in my life for I cannot make my own sets.

Evisceration is a sign of respect.
Re: The dig-through-your-old-stuffs thread
woah, my first post in a very long time, feels so strange. Even the layout for posting has changed, quite nice with the color chart on the side. I've been sneaking about the forum for the past few weeks and when I saw this thread I thought I should post some of the items I have, it was nice going down memory lane
.
When everyone started making Fan Signs and such:
Sign I made for Nikita

Ang's sign

Fe's sign

Sif's sign

Erin's sign

Unfinished Diva Quilt
, I still have the photoshop file saved, so maybe one day I'll move the icons around and finish it off.

I thought I had more things, a lot of chat logs saved from our old crazy chats
, I have a ton of sets, but not sure who made them.

Charisma, it's so fantastic to see you around!

Re: The dig-through-your-old-stuffs thread
Dude. It's Charisma. You EXIST.
Maybe this is going to be another "a bunch of old people come back at once" time periods. (Never thought I'd see Lady Night again, heh.)
And once again, almost every single one of those names rings a faint bell as a person I used to see around once upon a time...unless I knew the person, in which case, well, duh.

No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.

Hi Jas
, it feels weird being around. I've visited every now and then all ninja like
, just haven't had the courage to post, I just saw last time I posted was in 2006
. It would be quite strange if all the members from way back when came back at once.
I'll be around...spying...I mean reading.

http://www.google.com/search2001.html
This lets you search Google's database as it existed in January 2001. To remind everyone how far back this was: Bush was just being inaugurated as President, 9/11 had not happened yet, PPT did not exist yet (so the entire Neopets fansite universe basically didn't exist), and the big going controversies on Neopets were hackers named Ad0 and Puppetz. ChromeFox was in the middle of her fight against Mari_Jhane.
Try some searches on these topics, and see if you can get any still-existing webpages from that era.

Wow, I remember all of that. Back in the day, eh?
I miss the old Neopets. It was much simpler.

Yeah me too. And we were all so much cuter back then.
Time, I fear, hath jaded most of us.
*le sigh* At least we're hot jaded and can pull off a mean sexy brooding look.
I really like those Arrow logos Yoshi put up. Maybe we should start using them again.

Well, we have used some of them. The backgrounds just have to be changed for the current setup. As you can tell from the thread on the forum discussion board, the members are pretty particular if you have exactly the correct shade of grey or not. XD
