Okay, as much as I didn't want to be, I'm now completely hooked, mainly cause of the awesome ending.

Moogum, to answer your questions...

The note was left by evil-Niki. Yeah, the map led her to a burial ground of some sort, and details have yet to be revealed. As for the 4 hour thing, you heard her kid's message on the phone when she woke up in her garage? She was 4 hours late to pick him up. She was only watching the videotape in her car while she stopped in the middle of the road.

Both brothers can fly. Peter managed to find his ability this episode- but speculation says that Peter may have a mimic power. After all, he sketched out his future, just like crazy artist Isaac, so he possibly could've copied his brother's flying ability.

Hiro's "teleportation" to New York was more than that. He ended up fast-forwarding time 5 weeks. When he turned around and saw the explosion, he tried to teleport himself out, and ended back in Japan on the subway, at the exact time that he left. This means that he's actually seen what's gonna happen in the future and that he only has a couple weeks to do something about it.

The murder thing was gross, but not random- it introduced the policeman dude, who's part of the main cast. You know, the guy who read the little girl's mind? And yes, "Siler" is both the evil guy that did the murder, killed Mohinder's father, and is Claire's adoptive father.

Thanks, Yoshi. It cleared up a lot of stuff. I've been reading around a lot too.

I don't think it is confirmed that Sylar is Claire's adoptive father. People are saying that Claire's dad works for a part of the Government whose job it is to keep the "heroes" under surveliance. I don't know where that is from, but maybe people know something we don't (promotional stuff for the show or something). However, people are speculating that Sylar killed that family because they were Claire's real family.

A lot of these questions are being asked and answered on 9thwonders.com, so you're not alone.

I think that the bodies that Nikki found when she dug them up might be evil-Nikki's past murders or something. And the 4-hour lapse was probably evil-Nikki taking over and buying the car, getting the map, cleaning up the garage, etc.

And Yoshi: Peter does have mimic power, just like Rogue, but without the nasty side effects. One of the writers confirmed this.

And honestly, I think HRG might be a bad guy, but I don't think he's the powerful evil villain; I think that's Sylar. And thus I don't think Sylar and HRG are the same. One thing that points this out: Sylar is in NYC and HRG is in Odessa, TX.

EDIT: Oh, and a lot of speculation points to Sylar taking those people's brains out so he can tap into their power, as Mohinder's father said the whole thing about how normal people use only 10% of their brain, which leads us to believe that the heroes use more than 10%.

Lorshies I love this show! I still say Claire has the best power. The whole get hit by the footballer and slap her head all the way around, awesome! I find it really creepy that her adoptive father found the tape.

Leaves the relative question that he knew she had those powers, thought she would have those powers and is why she is with him, or is the brain-tapping guy as previously explained and which is why he said, "It breaks my heart," because now he want her power of invincibility. Which is a tight power.

I like the whole mimic thing but I dont understand it. With Peter's dreams and whatnot, shouldn't he have the hardcore flying ability and then Nathan have the mimic ability as was previously said that the mimic power allowed him to plan his life. And we did see at the end of the episode that he won in a landslide.

And how messed up is it that the police office finds the little girl and then gets blamed for setting it up. It was so sad!

And yes, Nikki's power is tre wierd. I really can't wait for them to explain how the doppleganger works .. gonna be sweet!

This show is shaping up to be much more enjoyable than I'd imagined, not to say I imagined it was going to be bad. The two twists at the end of the first two episodes actually suprised me, and that RARELY happens. If any of you recall "Surface", I don't think I was ever suprised once during that show. You were able to guess what was going to happen, and if you didn't, it wasn't anything really big or interesting anyway.

I know it's not going to keep up the suprise twists, and it doesn't even have to. The subject matter is already interesting, and the plot seems to be moving along at a fantastic pace. Can't wait to see how this show will progress in the later seasons!

Well, if you recall in the pilot Nathan told Peter that he [Peter] was special because he knew how to "connect" with people. So it does make sense that Peter would have the absorption power.

One thing that just popped into my head: if Peter has the absorption power, maybe he'll be one of the ones to stop Sylar at the end because he can take Sylar's power and use it against him. Plus, if Sylar is absorbing the other powers through the brains, Peter is like a worthy match to fight him.

In an interview she did Ali (the perso who plays Nikki) said that her powers and more about her would be revealed (for the most part) in episodes 4, 5, and 6.

Oh, and I'm guessing the season finale is what Hiro saw in the future.

Lol, maybe he is borderline telekenetic and doesn't know it yet. And if he has more than one power, perhaps the other do as well.

I can't wait for 4,5, and 6. I would love to know how the doppleganger works and how it can be controlled. Cause right now, that seems like the worst power in the world since you essentially have a ghostly double of yourself which is evil, running a muck and getting you into trouble. Also, I do think her son has some kind of power as well. He is suppose to be something of a child prodigy and inventor. Perhaps he is like Lex Luthor and has a very developed mind?

We still have one more person in which we have yet to encounter and that is D.L. Hawkins, a prison inmate with a phasing power.

Yeah, D.L... Someone on the forums wondered if the skeleton Nikki found was her ex, and someone else said that we'll find out later... So I was thinking, maybe D.L. is Micah's father? I mean, it is possible, since there's the possibility that the hero gene is passed down.

And what I love about this show is no one is referring to the people as mutants, rather as heroes, even though they are mutants.

But they're not even mutants .. they are evolved species of human.

If your're to call them mutants then Homo sapians should be called mutants as well since we are evolved from previous species.

Mutants implies that their genetic coding mutated in such a way that it produced a bad outcome. What their dna has merely done is evolved. It has adapted to a new environment in order to increase their survival rate. Survival of the fittest!

My thoughts on how there gonna bring the whole prison phase person into the show. You know how the policeman was all "going to jail" i think he is gonna meet him in the same cell or something and then poof he goes out or something like that.

Also Hiro being in the future and how the show showed the audience that Nathan will win in a landslide, i'm gonna assume right now that he won't win and some event will unfold and such. It makes sense for the show to give us the answers and change it at the very last second. Since by Hiro going into the future it could change everything, parallel universe type thing.

Does anybody know if there will be another encore? I cant BELIEVE i missed it.... i had it marked on my calendar for MONTHS now.... and i was busy out of nowhere and i missed it!

HOW CAN I SEE THE FIRST EPISODE?!?!!? i recorded the 2nd episode, but i want to see the first episode before the 2nd one!

Ive looked on my 3 downloading programs, and youtube begins blocking those things within minutes of being uploaded for copyright reasons...

I think D.L. (the phasing prison inmate we have yet to meet) is Mikah's father.

When Nikki was talking to her friend when she picked up Mikah, they talked about his father and I thought I heard her call him "Darryl" and said the cops were also after him, but it could have actually been D.L. (Or I could have been hearing things).
